There was a hard fork last year -- well basically an entirely new chain. The coin's real marker is ESP, but often people and exchanges will use ESP2 to try and avoid confusion with the old, defunct coin. There was a swap last fall but it ended months ago, so OG "ESP1" coins are useless.
YoBit is being shady, imo, cause they have for months been contacted and informed to switch to the new chain but they refuse to. The coins they are trading are the OLD Espers 1.0 that is not being supported and can not be used on other exchanges or in wallets.
So don't buy ESP on YoBit, you won't be able to transfer them to PoSWallet or anywhere else. AFAIK, YoBit is the only place still using the old coins, so if you're on any other exchange and the coin is listed as ESP, it should be fine. So the ESP on posw IS the same as the coin on nova called ESP2.
It's kind of confusing, I know. But pretty much the fault lies with YoBit who refuses to dump the old coin and switch to the current one.
Hope that helps!
